This Directorate is responsible for information sharing with members, stakeholders and the general public on Local Government concerns.

Objectives:

• To provide relevant and timely information to members, stakeholders and the general public
• To promote and enhance the image of the Association
• To create good will for the organization which involves such functions as employee relations, media relations and community relations.
• To build mutual understanding among our members

• Provide Information to members, stakeholders and the public
• Develop literature and publish quarterly newsletter, Calenders,Cards,etc
• Develop communication strategies and information policies
• Public relations and media relations
• International relations and networking
• Resource centre management
• Website management

This section is headed by the Director Communication and Public Relations Mr. Charles Opolot working with the Communications Officer, Ms.Jamidah Namuyanja, the IT Officer, Mr.Raymond Mugume and the Front Desk Officer, Ms.Christine Nakyanzi.
